To apply for residency for the first time you must have the following documents:
1- A valid passport for a period of not less than 6 months.
2 - Seal of entry into Turkish territory.
3- Visa .

 

Documents to be included:
1. Scaned passport (it is recommended to download CamScanner for better quality of the camera).
2 - Seal of entry into Turkish territory.
3 - Visa.
4 - A personal photograph.

5 - PTT - UETS Document
6 - Address (preferably the lease contract certified by the notaries).

* The documents required above are the documents that we need to complete the residence procedure and there are other documents must be included and they vary depending on nationality and the status of the residence procedure. Please email us to find out the other required documents.

To apply for a Duration of residence permit  you must have the following documents:
1- A valid passport for a period of not less than 6 months.
2- A Turkish residence permit valid for 60 days or less provided that it does not exceed three days.
3 - Population registration.

 

Documents to be included:
1. Scaned passport (it is recommended to download CamScanner for better quality of the camera).
2 - Both sides of residence permit to be renewed.
3 - Population registration.
4 - A personal photograph.

5 - PTT - UETS Document
6 - Address  (in a form of either the Population registration. or paper of E- Devlet).

To apply for change of residence status you must have the following documents:
1- A valid passport for a period of not less than 6 months.
2- A Turkish residence permit valid for 60 days or less provided that it does not exceed three days.
3 - Population registration.
4 - Change includes the status of residence or Province of residence.

As of 15 April 2024, National Electronic Notification Address (UETS) will be requested when submitting documents regarding residence permit extension applications. Please do not forget to add your UETS form to your application file on the appointment date.

STUDENT RESİDENCE PERMİT

Within the scope of Law No. 6458, foreigners studying in higher education programs in our country are required to obtain a student residence permit. Click here to access the brochure and booklet prepared in 5 languages regarding the student residence permit application process and the obligations to be fulfilled by international students during their legal stay.

ABOUT STUDENT RESIDENCE PERMITS

Based on the protocol signed between the Presidency of the Council of Higher Education and our Ministry, which entered into force on 29 November 2023; Higher education (associate, undergraduate, graduate and doctorate) students who apply for a student residence permit are required to submit the documents specified in the form together with the student residence permit registration form to the relevant unit (Student Affairs Office or International Student Office) of the university that they are enrolled at as soon as possible, without waiting for the appointment date after applying for a student residence permit.

Foreigners who have made appointments twice within the last six months through the e-residence system and do not attend their appointments or cancel their appointments, will not be able to make new applications.
